FREE WORDPRESS SITE AUDIT

Find out what is actually wrong with your website.

We check your site for security holes, outdated software, speed problems, SEO mistakes, and whether your tracking scripts are exposing you to the current wave of privacy lawsuits. Takes about two seconds. No signup, no card.

We only look at what is already publicly visible — the same things Google, and anyone else, can see right now.

WHAT THE SCAN LOOKS AT

Five things that quietly cost you money.

01

Security and out-of-date software

Outdated WordPress core and plugins are how most sites get hacked. We check what version you run, whether your usernames are publicly readable, whether XML-RPC is open, and whether basic server hardening is in place.

02

Privacy and lawsuit exposure

If your site fires Google Analytics or a Meta pixel before a visitor consents, you are in the pattern currently generating thousands of wiretapping claims. We check what tracks, and whether anything is holding it back.

03

Search visibility

Missing titles, no meta description, no structured data, a robots file quietly blocking the whole site. Small mistakes that keep good businesses invisible.

04

Speed

How long your server actually takes to respond, how heavy the page is, and how many scripts are loading before a visitor sees anything.

05

Mobile readiness

Google indexes the mobile version of your site first. We check the basics are configured.

06

And a human reads it

Every scan we run gets looked at. If something serious shows up, we will tell you plainly — whether or not you ever become a client.

WHY WE CHECK THE PRIVACY PART

Most site owners have no idea this is happening.

A 1967 California wiretapping law is being used against ordinary business websites. The argument is simple: if your site loads a tracking pixel before the visitor agrees to it, you intercepted their data without consent.

Statutory damages run to $5,000 per violation. Demand letters are being sent in bulk, generated by automated scanners that do exactly what our scan does — load your homepage and look at what fires. You do not need to be in California. You only need California visitors.

The fix is usually straightforward, and it is far cheaper than the alternative. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice — but we can tell you in two seconds whether your site currently shows the pattern.

WHO IS RUNNING THIS

A WordPress studio, not a lead-generation funnel.

465 Media has been building and caring for WordPress sites from Manchester, New Hampshire since 2009. More than 500 sites built over that time, and around 55 under active care today — from local businesses to Detroit Opera and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. We built this scanner because we run these checks by hand every week anyway.

Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The scan is automated, it costs us nothing to run, and there is no signup. If you want a person to go deeper we charge $99 for that, but you are under no obligation and plenty of people just take the free result and fix things themselves.

Do I need to give you my email?

Not to see your results. We ask afterwards, only if you want the findings sent to you in a form you can forward to whoever maintains your site.

Will this slow down or damage my site?

No. We load your homepage once, the same way any visitor or search engine does, and read what is publicly returned. We do not log in, change anything, or run anything against your server.

My site is not WordPress. Can you still check it?

Mostly. The security, privacy, speed and SEO checks all apply to any website. A few WordPress-specific checks will simply not return anything.

What does the $99 audit add?

A person. Automated checks catch the obvious and the measurable; they miss context. The paid audit looks at your plugin stack for known vulnerabilities and conflicts, checks your Google Business Profile and local visibility, reviews how your site is structured for AI assistants as well as search engines, and gives you a prioritised list of what to fix first and what to ignore.

RATHER JUST ASK A PERSON

Not sure what any of it means? Just ask.

You do not need to run the scan first, and you do not need to buy anything. If your site is misbehaving and you want a straight answer from someone who has worked on WordPress and nothing else since 2009, send a note or pick up the phone.
